It is the million dollar question asked by bloggers worldwide, "How do I monetize my site?"
After countless hours searching for answers, going to seminars, taking fellow bloggers' advice, the conclusion is this:
In the world of blogging, traffic equals impressions, and impressions equal money. So, with this in mind, following are 4 great strategies that will help you bring traffic and monetize your blog at the same time.
    #1: Advertise
Advertising is, without a doubt, one of the most effective ways to make money from a blog. The banners that you see all over the internet on every single page on the internet are there because they work. They manage to generate billions of dollars in yearly revenues! Banners demand attention, and with attention come involvement, which is exactly what makes this whole world so fascinating; the ability to make money online without having to second guess. The performance metrics are black and white; you can track your results and keep making more and more. Knowing how to best optimize a banner's performance may take time, but anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit and love for stats can do it.
There are many ways to go about this. There are many networks out there, RTB platforms and for blogs generally the self-serve solutions are the most fitted. The best way to do this is to join a self-serve ad platform that best fits your needs and requirements, such as Google AdSense and the likes.
The bigger networks can also be an interesting option, but these are for the more established websites and blogs as you need to have minimum impressions, and you will not get paid unless you meet a certain minimum each month.

    #2: Offer sponsored reviews
Offering to write sponsored reviews for a company, product or service is a great and effective way to add some extra cash to your income. It not only helps you attract more traffic to your site due to the fact that the review will obviously be included in the reviewed item's site or social media profile; the content will help your SEO efforts. And to state the obvious, it will also be a good source of money once you set a fixed price for publications. Additionally, this will help you become a trustworthy online reviewer that people go to for advice.

#3: Create your own little eBay
Selling online has been around for years, and will continue to be for many more. It is the traditional way of making money from a site and still works like a charm. Selling online is an effective and fast way to make money from your blog. Selling offers publishers a flexible alternative to monetize, since they can virtually sell anything they want. Everything from products, old collectibles, memorabilia, to a grandfather's old roller skates can help you make revenue. Bloggers can even opt to sell products that are related to their site's theme and overall tone, therefore marketing his inventory to a more accurate target market.

    #4: Use your knowledge
Share your skills and experience! Maybe you studied web design or took a course to learn Chinese. Regardless of your talent, use it to monetize yours. Offer video or written tutorials for a reasonable price to your visitors.
Once you learn how to grab readers' attention and get to know them inside out, you'll find that attracting more traffic will get easier; at the end of the day this is the first thing you need to do to be able to profit from your site. It’s all about volumes! Always keep in mind that a blog with good traffic volumes has the potential of making thousands in revenue, as long as you put in the hours, make an effort, and have some patience.
